SoftWave Stem Cell Tissue Regeneration at
Thrive Chiropractic
What is SoftWave Stem Cell Tissue Regeneration?
SoftWave therapy sends high-speed sound waves to an injured area of your body, stimulating the migration of resident stem cells to the area. After a certain age, our stem cells lie dormant. SoftWave stimulates them and focuses their migration to the targeted area, facilitating tissue healing and regeneration.

How Does It Work?
The SoundWave device is a non-invasive tool for diagnosing and treating areas of tissue damage. At Thrive Chiropractic, we first use the device to map out where the greatest restriction is located. You won’t feel anything as the sound waves pass through healthy tissue, but you may feel mild discomfort when the shock waves hit damaged tissue.
We’ll then treat the affected area with the SoftWave device for about five minutes. During this time, the sound waves will stimulate the production of stem cells and direct them towards the target area. It takes a series of treatments to build up stem cells in the area to complete the repair and healing.
Your own body is doing the healing work—the sound waves just stimulate production of the cells that help repair inflammation. The process does not damage tissue, and it’s completely non-invasive.
After treatment, you can resume your normal activities. We advise practice members to wait eight to twelve hours before doing rigorous exercise involving the affected area, but there is no need to apply ice or heat.
